Detailed Daywise Itinerary

Day 01

1st Day Gangasagar

Your adventure begins with a pickup from your chosen location—be it Howrah Station, Sealdah, the airport, or a hotel in Kolkata. A private vehicle will take you to Harwood Point near Kakdwip, the gateway to Gangasagar.

At Harwood Point, your guide will assist with your luggage and help you board the government ferry. This ferry crosses a 4-kilometer stretch of the Muriganga River to reach Kachuberia. Once you arrive, another vehicle will be waiting to take you to your accommodation on Gangasagar Island.

After a short rest, you’re free to explore the Gangasagar sea beach. Enjoy the breeze, take in the views, and relax with tea or coffee in the evening. Dinner will be served at your accommodation.

Day 02

2nd Day Gangasagar

Wake up early for a holy bath known as Punya Snan at the confluence of the Ganga and the Bay of Bengal. Visit the revered Kapil Muni Temple and complete your Puja Path (prayer rituals). Afterward, return to your accommodation for breakfast.

Once refreshed, check out and begin your return journey. Your guide will escort you to the Kachuberia ferry, and from there, you’ll cross back to Lot No. 8. A private vehicle will be waiting to drop you off at your original location in Kolkata.
